World Water Week 2012

The World Water Week in Stockholm, organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute with FAO and the CGIAR as Key Collaborating Partners for 2012, provides a unique forum for the exchange of views, experiences and practices between the scientific, business, policy and civic communities. The Week focuses on new thinking and positive action toward water-related challenges and their impact on the world’s environment, health, climate, economic and poverty reduction agendas. In 2011, more than 2600 participants from nearly 130 countries attended the World Water Week and some 180 leading international organisations collaborated with SIWI in arranging the event.
